2012 and the End of the Holiday Break
What is life without change and new things? Certainly nothing!
Since holiday break is almost over for me, I’ll be back to college duty on Monday and I will be busy. But I thought it was nice if I stopped by and wrote here.
Seems 2011 flew by because the only thing I knew was that suddenly, it was December. Definitely 2011 can count as the year that I overcame so many things, again. And no, I’m not complaining, I love new challenges get in front of me or my life would turn into a completely bore. I consider that 2011, was a year for changes, realization, imagination and exploration.
Without all the bad and good experiences I’d be the same as when 2011 started.
But it’s time to keep moving because 2012 is here! The end of the world as some claim, is supposed to be here by December but I can’t wait to go through more things this year.
Aaaaand, no; I’m not one of those people that say “New Year, New Me”. Like c’mon, no one is new after a few years! So I’m just going to be the same Nancy but better. This year shall inspire me to be better in everything and also, I have a new motto: “I deserve better.” Yup. Though, it doesn’t apply to my family and my BFF Paola since for what concerns me, right now she’s the only true friend I have.
As a matter of fact, I do believe we all deserve better, and since I’ve been through rough things this year, making this my motto means I will puut more effort in everything I do. And what a way to start doing this than when I start classes again? Well, well, seems new goals are up in my road.
